Church Building in Benue Collapses, Pastor dead

A tragic incident unfolded at Dunamis Church in the Mission Ward of North Bank, Makurdi, the capital of Benue State, as the church building collapsed in the early hours of Tuesday. Regrettably, this incident claimed the life of a pastor who was present when the structure gave way.

 

Sources indicate that at the time of the incident, four individuals, including the pastor, were inside the church, engaged in prayer. Fortunately, the other three individuals managed to escape the wreckage unharmed.

The repercussions of the building collapse extended beyond the church premises, affecting nearby residential buildings and electrical infrastructure. The precise cause of this devastating incident remains unclear at this time.
