An illustrious Son of Ikemba autonomous community, Ariam Usaka in Ikwuano L.G.A, of Abia State, Dr. Nzeribe Okegbue has been applauded for his humanitarian outreach in Ikwuano community.
In their separate remarks at Ndi- Eke Secondary School, Ikemba Community during the philanthropic outreach of Nzeribe Okegbue foundation, the Abia State Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Theophilus Odionyenfe Ugboajah and the former Executive Chairman, Ikwuano LGA, Hon.Chief Mrs. Ngozi Orji expressed happiness for the humanitarian outreach embarked upon by Dr. Okegbue and enjoined other well-to-do in the society to emulate and replicate same.
They expressed optimism that the gesture will go a long way to better the lives of people of the community and as well assure him (Okegbue) of the people’s support, even as they warned evil doers to desist from their evil ways and turn to light.

They advised Dr. Nzeribe Okegbue never to relent from the good work which he has started for his people and pray God to bless him abundantly.
Also, the traditional ruler of Agunba autonomous community, Eze Obaji commended Dr. Nzeribe Okegbue for his love for his people. He also charged the beneficiaries to reciprocate such love as what Dr. Nzeribe is doing is designed to bring development to entire Ariam Usaka Community.
Respectively, the PDP Chairman, Ikwuano LGA, Deacon Obioma Igwe, PDP Party Leader Chief John Ekeleme and the coordinator of Nzeribe Okegbue Foundation,Chief Celestine Emeruwa appreciated Dr.Nzeribe Okegbue for putting smiles on the faces his people. They called on the beneficiaries of the free interest loan empowerment program to use it judiciously so as to enable others to benefit during the next phase.
In his address, the President General of Ikemba community, Chief B.C Mgbaramuko expressed the gratitude of the community to the founder of the foundation. He disclosed that the gesture was first of its kind in the Community and prayed God to continue bless Dr. Nzeribe Okegbue.
Speaking during the event at Ndi- Eke Secondary School, Ikemba Community, Dr. Nzeribe Okegbue said he derives joy in making his people smile hence his being motivated to embark on this outreach not minding the cost.
Okegbue who went down memory lane to recall his growing up days, having being born without a silver spoon. He said he owes his success story to God and hard work and encouraged everyone present not to give up on themselves and should work hard and keep trusting God for a better future.
He further said that he started empowering his people since 2001. He encouraged his people to support him to collectively move Ariam Usaka forward.
Dr. Nzeribe Okegbue advised parents to be careful on the choice of words they use on their children, as it affects their future and assured them that his foundation will continue to empower his people; expressing gratitude to God that revival has come to Ariam Usaka.
He also revealed his partnership with other Ariam -Usaka Progressives to form a Non political Group that will see to the development and upliftment of the people of Ariam-Usaka. He further assured that the humanitarian outreach will be in phases, with Ariam Usaka taking the center stage next.
Dr. Nzeribe expressed his deep joy and gratitude to all his friends and associates who encouraged him in one way or the other to make the occasion successful. He also praised his brother Architect Onyemachi Albert Okegbue for his courage and political maturity.
Contributing, the immediate past Commissioner for boundary matters and conflict resolution, Chief Imo Obike Mascot described Okegbue as his friend and expressed delight in the philanthropic outreach he selflessly embarked on.
His words, “What my friend is doing for his people is a sign of love. I must commend the vision he has for his people and as well pleaded with the people of Ikemba not to abuse the free interest loan he brought to them”.
Items distributed by the foundation include: Bags of Rice, Beans, Salts, Cartons of maggi, instant noodles, Bells of wrappers and cash sum of N250,000 to the five villages that make up Ikemba ward. Chief John Ekeleme also supported people of Ikemba ward through Nzeribe Okegbue Foundation with cash sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira only, while Prince Innocent Eleogu supported with Sixty Thousand Naira only.
