In an operation conducted by the Benin Zonal Command of the EFCC in Warri, Delta State, a total of 41 individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud were apprehended on Friday. The arrests were made based on credible intelligence regarding their illicit activities within the region.
Among those detained are individuals with names such as Jackson Shebenor, Good Gospower, Akiefa Desmond, Johnson Ogheneuwegba, Okonta Williams, Ochuko Godfrey, Marvelous Oghogho Ekpuke, Ofoluwa Sheriff, Eyengho Richard, Daniel Avwerosuo Iniovorhire, Favour Ighoatudu, Stanley David, Gospower Jeremiah, Hurock Miracle, Onaiwu Gideon, Apare Tamarakuru, Ogribi George, and Napoleon Efe Miracle.
Additionally, the following suspects were apprehended: Jephthah Godbless, Isiorho Desmond, Ochuko Prosper, Akpevwe Edogbegi, Felis Emmanuel, John Benjamin, Chukwuyenum Kenneth, Ejaita Victory, Felix Wada, Ufuoma Ododolor, Blessing Gbekena, Edo Othuke, and Irikete Prosper.
Further individuals on the list include: Joshua Ngerem, Efejayobor Ochuko, Eke Kelechi Destiny, Idise Raymond Chuks, Enitomi Patrick, Efetobore Prosper Eghegha, Toise Raymond Chuks, and Ogheneome Udovi.
During the operation, law enforcement officers seized eight luxury cars, along with a cache of mobile phones and laptops that were in the possession of the suspects. The EFCC has stated that these individuals have provided valuable information during their interrogations and will soon face legal charges in court.
