Double Celebration: Abia Deputy Gov And Brother Dedicates Children.

 

The era of using Government funds to run private businesses will not be tolerated, Dr Alex Otti, the Abia State Governor has maintained.

Dr. Otti stated this during the dedication of Master Alexander Emetu and little Miss Zaneta Emetu, Son and Daughter of the Deputy Governor, Chief Ikechukwu Emetu and his brother Mr. Jamike Emetu held at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Parish, Amaekpu Ohafia, also asserted that transparency would remain the bedrock of his administration.

He reiterates that Government money must be utilized to work for the benefit of the people and implored Abians to exercise patience as programmes to be rolled out In the next few weeks will be people oriented.

The Governor congratulated his Deputy, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu on the arrival and dedication of his Son, a child he said compliments the new dawn of joy in Abia State and prayed that he will grow up to be a very responsible citizen that will surpass his father’s achievements In life.

The State’s Chief Executive used the forum to thank the St. Anthony’s Catholic Parish, People of Abia North and entire Abia for the gallant fight they fought that led to the victory and actualization of the will of God that started in 2015 and solicits their prayers and support assuring that all neglected and dilapidated road network across the State will be adequately addressed

In his sermon titled ” Call to Disciples, The Rev Father Francis Onwunali described time as one that can renounce themselves carry their cross and fellow Christ wholeheartedly as well as meditate and study the word of God which shatters every rock of anxieties, challenges and devices of the enemy.

The Rev Father Onwunali who congratulated the Deputy Governor, Chief Ikechukwu Emetu on the birth and dedication of their Son, urged him to see his rise to the position of authority as one that came from God hence he should imbibe the virtue of humanity in order to see, understand and appreciated the plight of people.

Responding on behalf of his wife, Adaeze, the Deputy Governor and father of little Master Alex Emetu, Chief Ikechukwu Emetu appreciated his boss Dr. Alex Otti and his wife, Priscilla Otti as well as all who came to identify with them and promised to train up his Son to become a worthy and responsible citizen.
