Abia Govt Prepares Week-Long Event To Mark State’s 32nd Anniversary 

 

 

Abia State government is gearing up to host a week-long series of events commemorating the 32nd anniversary of the state’s creation.

 

 

The Commissioner for Information and Culture,Prince Okey Kanu made this announcement during a press briefing at Government House Umuahia.

 

 

 

According to the Commissioner, details of activities for the event scheduled to begin on the 22nd of August, would be released to the public at a later date.

 

 

 

Kanu further stated that a committee would be set up to organize the event marking the first Abia Day celebration by the current administration.
