Cross River State Assembly ready to screen nominated Commissioners

The Cross River State House of Assembly has made known its readiness to screen the 26 nominated Commissioners in the State.

Given the screening, the House of Assembly has called on the proposed Commissioners presented to them by the Governor of the state, Senator Bassey Otu after finally beating the 60 days deadline for presenting his Commissioners.

Mr. Ukukong Augustine,  the Principal Legislative Officer who is also the Committee Clerk, in a press release signed by him called on the nominees to appear before the Committee on Judiciary, Public Service matters, Public Petition and Conflict Resolution, on Monday 31st July at the mini Auditorium of the Assembly Complex.

The nominated Commissioners were instructed to present to the House their detailed Curriculum Vitae, birth certificate or affidavit of age declaration, Educational/ Professional certificate, Certificate of Local Government Area of origin, Tax clearance certificate for the past 3 years, and evidence of party registration.

They were also instructed to file the documents in 10 file jackets and submit them to the House on or before the day of screening.
