Former Nigerian Vice President and Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate for 2023 general elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has been discribed as the most qualified candidate among others to lead Nigeria out from its economic downturn.
The immediate past Executive Chairman, Ukwa-East Local Government Area (LGA), Hon. Chuks Wabara who stated this at his home town, Ohambele Ndoki during a meeting, maintained that Atiku’s profile and antecedent depicts hope for a better Nigeria.
Wabara who thanked the Board of Trustee’s Chairman of the PDP, Sen. Adolphus Wabara for his role in stabilizing the party at this critical time, expressed hope that PDP would win at all levels in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
Contributing, the immediate past Chairman of Ugwunagbo Hon. Joy Nnanta described the level of hardship brought into the country by All Progressive Congress (APC)-led government, urged Nigerians to vote Atiku to change the fortune.
In their separate remarks, the Coordinator Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council, Ukwa-East chapter, Engr. Felix Nwagbara and the Secretary of the group, Hon. Kingsley E. Okere have called on the people of Ndoki Ukwa-East to vote the PDP presidential candidate, insisting that Atiku would bring the needed succour Nigeria needs at this point in time.
