Group Set To Host 3rd Edition of Most Beautiful Queen in Abia

All is now set for the Third Edition of Most Beautiful Queen (MBQA) in Abia State 2023

The MD/CEO GIFmag Concept, Amb. Godwin Ifeanyi Ferdinand who disclosed this recently during a press conference in Umuahia, Abia state, stated that the pageantry that was earlier put on hold is finally back, bigger and better.

 

He added that the event was designed to engage the talented youths meaningfully, to attract tourists across the country and project the rich cultural heritage of Abia state, Igbo’s and Nigeria at large, stating that the event would youth restiveness, idleness among the girl child in the society.

He maintained that MBQA pageantry provides a platform for every girl child from age 18 – 25 and has extend the age bracket to 30 participate in this creative and competitive venture.

He recalled that the first edition of the programme featured food cooking competition In 2019 and the Second edition which featured the one girl one pad initiative programme among others.

The MBQA Foundation has been recognize Nationals and globally through the Girl Child foundation founded by Gifmag Concepts and the National franchise for Miss Toursim Nigeria.

GIFMAG Concept boss further disclosed that the 2023 edition registrations will commence on the 4th of December, and would be open for eight weeks.

“Just as the edition is tagged – Tourism Edition, we will be giving every girl child out their an opportunity to become the face of tourism in Abia and it’s environs. We, therefore call on all young talented female gender to grab this opportunity and participate”, he added.

Ferdinand called for more sponsors and partners to enable the group to reach to their target audience.

He also stated that Winners of this contest would be going home with a car prize from sponsors, cash awards/ambassadorial deals among other consolation prizes.

In a related development, the MD/CEO, GIFMAG Concept, Mr. Ferdinand has pleaded with Abians to support Abia representative, Queen Oluebubechi Iheukwumere in the ongoing Miss Tourism Nigeria 2022 in Victoria Island, Lagos State with their votes.

Queen Iheukwumere who hails from Uzoakoli in Bende Local Government Area (LGA), was the Second to win the coveted MBQA in 2020 among 17 contestants who participated.
