Saudi Arabia have proved book makers wrong as they came from a goal down to defeat one of pre-World Cup favourite Argentina 2-1 in one of the greatest World Cup upsets.
Argentina, parading Lionel Messi are ranked third in the world, while Saudi Arabia are 50 places away on 53rd.
Lionel Messi opened scoring for the South Americans from the penalty spot in the first half.
Saudi Arabia came into the second half a different team. Saleh Al Shehri equalised for the Arabians in the 48th minute. Five minutes later, Salam Al Dawsari made it two.
Saudi Arabia defended with their lives for the rest of the game to clinch a historic victory.
