Members of Uche Ndi Abia Campaign Organization, Isiala Ngwa South Chapter have been charged to ensure the victory of all PDP candidates in the 2023 elections.
This charge was made by the Coordinator Uche Ndi Abia Campaign Organization Isiala Ngwa South LGA and Commissioner for Housing ,Abia State Elder Chinagorom Nwankpa, during a meeting he held with the ten Ward Coordinators in the local government.
Elder Nwankpa said the meeting was called to interact with the coordinators and assess their readiness in ensuring victory for the People’s Democratic Party in the State through pooling unit by unit winning.
Nwankpa call on them to work assiduously and start attending meetings of villages in their ward to ensure that PDP wins 5/5 in the ten wards of Isiala Ngwa South.
He told them to work together with other PDP candidates, Ward coordinators and their PDP ward Chairmen to ensure that there is synergy between them and other people working for the success of PDP in their various wards.
The local government coordinator later brief them that with the mandate of other Uche Ndi Abia Leaders in Isiala Ngwa South that “we have resolve to give the ten slots of political appointments allocated to Uche Ndi Abia ,Isiala Ngwa South to the ten ward coordinators to enable them mobilise the grassroot for PDP and ensure total victory for Professor Uche Eleazar Ikonne and all the party’s candidates”.
Also speaking, a State director in Uche Ndi Abia Campaign Organization Dr Chinatu Njoku encouraged them to mobilize for total victory of People’s Democratic Party in 2023.
Dr Njoku informed the Coordinators that the reward system was going to be different through the dictum of participatory governance of the incoming administration.
The State Director challenged the Coordinators to do everything within their limit to ensure victory for PDP as they will not be forgotten.
Responding, a former Transition Committee Chairman in Isiala Ngwa South LGA and Uche Ndi Abia ward coordinator in Ovungwo Ward 8 Hon Nnaemeka Nwaogu, thanked the Local Government coordinator of Uche Ndi Abia in Isiala Ngwa South for inclusive administration.
Hon Nwaogu restated their commitment in ensuring victory for all PDP candidates in their various wards.
He appreciated the leaders for choosing them for the appointment which he said will spur them to do more.
Coordinators of Mbutu Ukwu ward 3 Surveyor Sampson Nwonosike, Hon. Innocent Nwankpa, Omoba ward 7 , Ebere Ezeocha Okporo Ahaba ward 10 as well as Mr ThankGod Amaohu, Mbutu Ukwu ward 4 thanked the leadership for finding them fit for the appointment and assured them that they would work to deliver 5/5 for PDP in their wards and Isiala Ngwa South.
They encouraged the leaders to continue in their interface with the Coordinators as it will energize them the more.
In a vote of thanks the Coordinator Aku Na Ekpu ward 6 Chief John Nnorom thanked the Coordinator of Uche Ndi Abia, Chief Chinagorom Nwankpa, Dr Chinatu Njoku and other leaders for inviting them for the interactive meeting.
He promised that they will not disappoint them as they will work assiduously with renewed effort to ensure victory for PDP.
All the ten Ward Coordinators including Chief John Nnorom, Innocent Nwankpa, Nnaonwu Stephen, Ebere Ezeogu, ThankGod Amaohu, Chijioke Michael, Surveyor Sampson Nwanosike , Nnaemeka Nwaogu, Nneji Ajuzie and Godwin Njoku attended the meeting.
