We supported that programme to make sure that children of five years and below get vitamin A supplementation.
“For the mothers, we supported family planning and HIV Counseling and Testing by supervising the healthcare centres and equally making sure that there are test kits available in these health care centres for them to get tested and know their status.
“Generally, there is a decline in maternal and child morality rate. We have made impacts in vaccination coverage, vitamin A supplementation and use of insecticide treated nets among children as well as HIV testing and counseling in women attending ante natal care among others”.
