Again, Ukoha Empowers Constituents, Distributes Cash, Others

It was a moment of funfare and jubilation in Arochukwu LGA, as the Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, distributed cash and other items to his constituents across the LGA.

Speaking at Aggrey Primary School field Ibom, Arochukwu, the Lawmaker explained that he decided to touch the lives of the less privileged, elderly, low income earners and petty traders, due to the hardship they are facing on daily basis.

He stated that out of the two categories of beneficiaries, the first category, were selected from the various churches across the constituency through their clergies.

According to the Lawmaker, the second category are the petty hawkers and traders, whose means of livelihood are nothing to write home about.

He went further to hint that the next phase, will come up in the next few weeks and will continue in that order.

He expressed delight that the gesture will help in cushioning the effect of hardship being witnessed in many households today.

In his address, the Arianzu Arochukwu Kingdom, Mazi Augustine Kanu Okoro, who was full of thanks for the gesture, lauded the Lawmaker for his numerous goodies to his constituents and for remembering the poor and needy.

He hinted that it was due to Hon. Ukoha’s sterling qualities and representational responsibilities, that made all Traditional Rulers and Ndi Eze Ogo in Arochukwu to give him their Royal Blessing/endorsement.

Arianzu Arochukwu prayed God to continue to bless the Lawmaker and direct his path politically.

In their separate speeches, some of the beneficiaries such as Madam Enyidie Asi, Mrs. Maria Sunday, Comfort Ukwu and the rest, thanked the Lawmaker for remembering them.

They prayed God to bless him in all his endeavours while pledging their continuous support to his political aspirations.
