The people of Ndume Otuka,Ibeku, in Umuahia North Local Government Area,has celebrated their 2020 New Yam Festival peacefully in accordance with covid 19 protocols.
Speaking during the celebration,the Traditional Ruler of Ndume Autonomous Community, Eze Donatus Aguiyi,the former Transition Committee Chairman,Umuahia North ,Chief Chukwudi Ndumele, President General ,Ndume Otuka Development Union Federated, High Chief Sunny Nwakodo,among others, maintained that the Iriji festival remains critical to development of any society and streesed the need for people to cherish their culture and tradition,
