Enugu @ 31: Distinguished Ogbodo Congratulates Enugu People, Urges Them To Reject Recycled Politicians

The Governorship Candidate of African Action Congress (AAC), Dist. Ray Kene Ogbodo, has congratulated the good people of Enugu State on the remembrance of the 31st anniversary of the creation of the state and hailed state’s founding fathers for a job well done.

Ogbodo said this in a statement issued by his media aide, Mr Azubuike Akam, to mark the 31st anniversary of Enugu State’s creation.

He joined the good people of Enugu in giving thanks to God for surviving the last 31 years of inadequate leadership, bad governance, poor economic growth and development which had resulted in abject poverty for many people in the state.

Ogbodo said he sincerely appreciate the endurance and perseverance of the people over the years and paid tributes to the founding fathers for their selfless service to ensure that Enugu State was created.

Though Enugu is now 31 years, Ogbodo lamented that not much progress had been made in lifting many people out of abject poverty.

He noted that people are facing poor healthcare facilities and accessibility, inadequate education system, infrastructural deficit and security issues caused by abject poverty created by oppressors, hijackers and everyday recycled politicians and their cronies.

Ogbodo said that the major problem bedevilling Enugu State over the years is BAD LEADERSHIP, POOR GOVERNANCE AND SLOW GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT.

He emphasised that leadership is about creating positive inspiration, positive influence, and positive impact to alleviate peoples’ suffering.

“Our people look up to their leaders to deliver positive outcomes, but not for the so-called leaders to hijack, defraud and embezzle state funds. Such act is causing lots of pain and suffering to our people, enough is enough,” he said.

Ogbodo reiterated his Five Point Agenda #HOPES and promised that if elected as Enugu Governor in 2023, he would deliver fully on them for the many, not just the few privilege hijackers and their cronies.

Ogbodo noted that he is the only credible, unadulterated, non-recycled, educated, civilised, humble, kind, caring, compassionate, tenacious, competent, servant and authentic transformative leader for Enugu 2023 Governorship Election.

He urged Enugu people to choose and support him as the BETTER OPTION for Enugu 2023 Governor because our people deserve a decent and better life.
