Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has congratulated the governor-elect of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke on his resounding victory at the just concluded gubernatorial election in the state.
In a release signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Onyebuchi Ememanka,Governor Ikpeazu stated that the election of Adeleke on Saturday is a clear testimony of the consistency of Senator Adeleke in the PDP as well as the readiness of Nigerians to follow the path of integrity and credibility which PDP symbolizes.
The Governor stated that the victory is a clear testimony of the consistency of Senator Adeleke, the preference of the Peoples Democratic Party as party of choice by Nigerians and most importantly, the power of a resolute people to determine the direction for their future.
Ikpeazu therefore saluted the tenacity of the people of Osun State in standing by Adeleke and believed that the governor-elect’s tenure will usher in an era of positive change in the state.
He used the opportunity to also congratulate members of the PDP across the country and expressed belief that the outcome of the Osun election will serve as a signpost of good things to come.
