Stop Hating Yourselves, Clergy Admonishes Igbos

The Founder, Revival Assembly Ministries International, Apostle Anselm Madubuko, has told Igbos to stop hating themselves.

Speaking during a breakfast meeting organised by the Christian Association of Igbo Ministers (CAIM) at Awka, Anambra State, the renowned preacher asked the Igbos to stop hating themselves because they are already hated by others.

According to Apostle Madubuko, “We are hated and it’s stupid to keep hating one another.

“Stop fighting because we are being fought, let us respond to every hate with love.

“Love the unloveable. And when we pray for our land, God will hear us and answer our prayers.”

Madubuko, who is also the Apostolic Leader, Revival Assembly Ministries International, urged all Igbos: the political, religious and traditional leaders to change their mindset by forgetting the past and embracing love of their brothers and sisters.

He said, “the reason there is so much unforgiveness and hate is because hatred is cheap and for children but It is only the matured that can love,” he said.

Sighting an example of forgiveness, Madubuko noted that Apostle Stephen in the holy scripture (Acts of the Apostles) while he was being stoned, still forgave his persecutors, even as he was dying.

Earlier, a Former Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Anambra State and an Elder Statesman, Bishop O. C. Dominic, urged Igbos to unite and build the race.
