Governor’s Wife Sue For Peaceful Elections Comes 2023

WIFE OF ABIA GOVERNOR Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu 

The Wife of Abia State Governor, Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu, has led Abians to prayers for a peaceful elections and transition of power to the next generation of leaders who will pilot the affairs of the country and the states.

Mrs. Ikpeazu in a prayer session organised by the Abia Prayer Network at the Michael Okpara Auditorium in Umuahia today said that a lot has been happening since the primary election and call on stakeholders to peacefully reconciled aggrieved members.

According to her, “while we continue to pray for peace in the state, efforts should be made to reconcile those aggrieved so that Abia would continue to be peaceful for us all” she said.

The Governor’s wife also thanked all who had been interceding and holding Abia state in prayers.

In a prayer session the non denominational prayer network prays for all candidates and their representatives who are seeking for positions to serve the country and the states better.

In a sermon, the Coordinator of Abia Prayer Network, Pastor Pat Ikechi, who spoke on the topic ‘God Will Do It’ reiterates that there is nothing anyone can achieve without God because power belongs to God.

According to him, ” when God gives you victory, that victory becomes permanent but whoever ignores the power of God will definitely fail” he said.

Meanwhile, the wife of the Peoples democratic party flag bearer, Mrs. Uzoamaka Ikonne were among those prayed for during the prayer session.
