Nnenna Ukeje Officially Declares Interest To Run For Bende Federal Constituency

 

 

A three time House of Representatives member for Bende Federal Constituency, Hon Nnenna Elendu Ukeje, has officially declared her intention to run for the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to represent Bende Federal Constituency for the fourth time.

Speaking during an interactive meeting with the ward, local and some state executive members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Alayi, Bende Local Government Area, Hon Nnenna Ukeje, declared that she is a better candidate to fly the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party for the Bende Federal Constituency in the forth coming 2023 general elections.

She urged the party executives to take an independent appraisal over how Bende and Abia North had fared in the absence of the PDP in the last three years.

“We are running election against an incumbent from the opposition, against a sitting Senator and member of the House of Assembly and state party Chairman of PDP, all from the opposition, so anybody who conspires to fill a weaker candidate doesn’t wish the Party any good in the forth coming general election.

“To run an election,you need fire in your belly.

“We are going for an election ,not an experiment,she further stressed that experience counts the most”.

She urged the party executives to vote her to fly the ticket of the PDP come 2023.

Recall, that Hon Nnenna Ukeje had been representing the Bende Federal Constituency at the Green Chambers for the past three tenures (2007-2019), her interest to represent the constituency for the fourth time in 2019, was aborted when she lost at the PDP Primaries.

All the ward chairmen, deputy ward chairmen, youth leaders, secretaries, women leader in the ward and local government , the local government Chairman of PDP, Chief Dike C Dike, Deputy Chairman of Bende Local Government Area, Hon Chief Promise Uzoma Okoro, state auditor of the PDP, Chief Gabriel Okereke Elendu, former local government Chairman of PDP in Bende and Ex Officio of the PDP, Chief Nduaka Nworisara, Chief Alex Udensi, Chief Moses among others joined the interactive session.
