The Business mogul and lover of his people, Mr Ikechukwu Gbaruko has reaffirmed his commitment to serve the people of Umuahia East State Constituency, saying he will improve the live of the people if elected.
Gbaruko who stated this in an interview with the press shortly after he stormed the PDP secretariat in Umuahia to pick up his Expression of interest/Nomination form to contest for the Umuahia East Constituency seat at the Abia House of Assembly, said he has lined up programs that will improve the lives and welfare of the people if elected.
According to him, he would be investing massively on skill acquisition centres, so that the people of the area can learn any skill of their choice, so as to be self reliant.
He revealed that in his seven point agenda for his people, he would be giving attention to sports, organizing football competitions,with the aim of engaging the youths as well as removing them from the streets.
Gbaruko also noted that he would make efforts to reorientate the mindset of the people towards politics and political holders,stating that it is high time people shifted from the notion that politics is about money making.
He, however, stated that he relies on God to give him the power, as he has done 90% consultations,stating that his victory will be dedicated to his people.
Meanwhile, the House of Assembly Aspirant for the Umuahia East State Constituency seat, Ikechukwu Gbaruko, promised not to go the way of others, adding that his scholarship programs and employment opportunities will be heightened.
