My Dream Is To Leave Behind A Viable Economic System-Gov Ikpeazu

Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has attributed the position of Abia as the 3rd State with ease of doing business to the robust and favorable policies evolved by his government.

Governor Ikpeazu who stated this while featuring on the second edition of a Channels Television Programme tagged”Inside Abia”, said a lot has been done by his administration to provide Aba, the economic hub of the state, with three reliable and affordable alternative sources of power supply.

He informed that his administration has tackled the issues of Power, Market and Automation bedeviling the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) sector of the state adding that his dream is to leave behind an economic system that can compete favorably with the likes of Japan, China and a host of other developed countries.

According to the Governor, his administration has devoted the past six years to institute a strong, viable and sustainable economic pillar that will propel a self-sustaining economic eco-system in the state.

He said that the Enyimba Economic City project has advanced to an appreciable level , pointing out that the project has brought about the presence of NIBRA SHOE Company, the Galaxy Investment and a host of others in the state.

Governor Ikpeazu noted that the Abia Development Master plan produced by his administration is focused on transforming the lives of Abians through the 5 pillars of development initiated by his administration.
