AFCON: Moses Leads Nigeria Out of Egypt

The Super Eagles of Nigeria moments ago defeated the Pharaohs of Egypt by a lone goal in group D’s opening match of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.

The West Africans out-played their North African opponent in every department with Simon Moses the tormentor in chief on the left flank while William Troost-Ekong kept Mohamed Salah quiet throughout the game.

Kelechi Iheanacho scored the only goal of the match on the 30th minute.

The Super Eagles will take on Sudan on Saturday while Egypt will hope to bounce back to winning ways when they take on Equatorial Guinea.
