Antonio Conte Named New Tottenham Manager

Former Chelsea and Inter Milan manager, Antonio Conte has been appointed the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur following the sacking of former Wolves manager, Nuno Espirito Santo on Monday.

Conte signed a contract that will keep him at Tottenham until 2023 with an option of extension.

“I am extremely happy to return to coaching and to do so at a Premier League club that has the ambition to be a protagonist again.” Conte said.

The 57-year-old is back in London, where he helped Chelsea win the league in his first season and the FA Cup in the second season.

After leaving Chelsea, the Italian went home and helped Inter Milan win the Serie A title which has eluded them for 11 years.

Conte’s first match will be on Thursday in the Europa Conference League against Dutch side Vittesse Amhem. His first Premier league match will against Everton on Sunday.
