Lawmaker Expresses Delight on Second Round of Financial Literacy Training

The Minority Whip and member representing Arochukwu State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Onyekwere Mike Ukoha, has expressed delight on the second round of financial literacy training for his constituents.

Speaking at Ozu Abam Civic Hall recently, the lawmaker explained that the Five-Day programme, will help the participants to manage their finances when it is approved by NIRSAL Micro Finance Bank and thanked Homeland Consult and Training Institute, for doing a good job.

He went on to urge the participants to utilize the opportunity, by the CBN and NIRSAL Micro Finance Bank, to help their businesses.

Speaking Earlier, Mrs. Sarah Anaba of Homeland Consult and Training Institute Ltd (Certified EDI), lauded the commitment of the trainees, hinting that their experience, will help them to manage their finances when approved by the Bank.

In an interview, some of the participants, including Elder Ugo Isaac, Stephen Nwoke and Mr. Isaac Ike Okoroafor, expressed satisfaction in the training.

They hinted that the level of knowledge they have gotten, at the end of the training, will help them to manage their finances well and grow their businesses.

The trainees, used the medium to thank the lawmaker for facilitating the programme for them and prayed God to continue to guide him in his future endeavors.

It would be recalled, that the first training had earlier taken place in Arochukwu on the 6th of June, 2020.
