Ikpeazu Commended Over Community Development

The General Manager, Abia State Community Social Development Project (CSDP), Dr. Chinatu Njoku has lauded the Abia state Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu over community development in the state.

Njoku who disclosed this recently to newsmen in Umuahia, stated that Ikpeazu has completed 543 projects in 250 communities in Abia through CSDP.

He revealed that over N1.4 Billion has been expended through CSDP on community development across the state since the past six years Gov. Ikpeazu came on board.

The technocrat further noted that the projects cut across different sectors like environment, electricity, education, health among others, insisting that the Abia helsman has done creditably.

Njoku also hailed Ikpeazu for the promotion of made-in-Aba products, adding that it has provided jobs for the youths, curbs youth restiveness, as most youths that used to be idle are now gainfully engaged.

The General Manager who applauded the Abia Governor for massive infrastructures across the state, noted that Aba Road – Umuahia Road that has defiled several solutions has been fixed by Gov. Ikpeazu.

He said: “The massive critical Infrastructural development in Abia has attracted alot of investments in the state, enhanced ease-of-doing business among others.

He further disclosed that Abia state ranking third in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), is an eloquent testament of his efforts in securing lives and property, infrastructures, good government policies among others.

The CSDP boss who urged Abians and her residents to pay their taxes to enable Gov. Ikpeazu to deliver more dividends of democracy to the state, also advised those managing the state Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) to show transparency.
