The Minority Whip and member representing Arochukwu State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, Hon Mike Ukoha, has provided some relief materials to the Arochukwu LGA Chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria.
Speaking while handing the materials to them Ukoha explained that such gesture was part of his efforts to reach out to the body in this critical period, adding that he has been reaching out to various bodies and groups, ever since the corona virus pandemic begun.
He used the medium to call on the Christian body to continue to pray for the betterment of the country.
The lawmaker expressed pleasure in the total commitment of CAN towards the things of God, saying that their prayers have contributed to the emancipation of Christians in Nigeria.
Speaking at the occasion, the Secretary of CAN, Arochukwu LGA Chapter, Dr. Okey Ugochukwu, thanked the lawmaker for his untiring efforts towards the upliftment of Arochukwu Constituency, noting that CAN is proud of him.
Dr. Ugochukwu thanked him for providing the materials to the Association and prayed God to continue to guide and protect him, in his services for the people.
In his speech, the Arochukwu LGA Coordinator of CAN, Rev. Fr. Livinus Okamgba, expressed appreciation to the lawmaker for reaching out to the down trodden, and advised him to put God first in his services to the people and prayed for wisdom in his legislative assignments.
