AGBEDE WARNS HOODLUMS TO DESIST FROM CRIME AS SHE TOOK OVER AS POLICE COMMISSIONER IN ABIA

Abia state has gotten a new commissioner of police, CP, Jane Agbede, to replace its former police chief Mr. Ene Okon, who has been deployed to Force Headquarters, Abuja.

Agbede, before her posting to head Abia command was the Commissioner of police in charge of welfare, force headquarters Abuja.

Addressing newsmen shortly after taking over the leadership of Abia command, Agbede warned hoodlums to retire from their crimes or face the consequences of the law because the state would no longer be comfortable for them to operate.

The state police boss discloses that she has the mandate of the Inspector General of Police to ensure that Abians who are industrious in there businesses and career would have a secure environment to go about their businesses.

According to her, ” I know that Abia is tough but I will build with the existing security architecture with the help of my colleagues and support from the government to ensure that lives and property are protected “.
