Suspend 5G Network, Cleric tells FG

The Federal Government has been advised to as a matter of urgency suspend the 5G Network that is currently causing panic among Nigerians, saying the 5G issue is being shredded in mystery.

The Methodist Archbishop of Umuahia, Most Rev.Chibuzo Opoko, who dropped this during an interview with newsmen in Umuahia, said the 5G network which has been hitting hot in all social media platforms should be suspended for now, so that we can observe its impact on other countries first before we allow it into Nigeria.

Opoko said it is needless for the government to talk about 5G network at this time, when the nation is yet to record any developmental stride on the area of good hospitals, roads, schools, among other infrastructural development.

According to him, with what is being said about the 5G network and its concomitant effect, it will be wise we delay it for another two years,so we can monitor the effect on other countries that have installed it.

He lamented that already Nigerians are being ripped off billions of Naira from the one they are using, calling on FG to be transparent in their dealings.

He further pointed out that we do not need the 5G network for anything as all our infrastructures have gone moribund, agitating for the government to wake up to their responsibility of providing social amenities.

The cleric, however, thanked God for the Covid 19 pandemic currently ravaging the whole world, and the lessons it has left with us.
