A member of the Nigerian Civil Defence Corp at toll gate umuikaa junction guned down a motorist this morning and made away to the nearest police station because of his non-compliance to give them bribe for passage.
The man was carrying food items like rice and tomatoes.
He wasn’t carrying any passenger.
As at the time of filing this information the youths are angry and have destroyed their checkpoint, However the NCDC have deserted from the crime scene and the body is still lying at RONALD HOSPITAL.
