Ohakim eulogizes Gov Ikpeazu on developmental efforts.

Former Governor of Imo State,Chief Ikedi Ohakim has eulogized Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for his efforts in driving the
the socio economic development and growth of Abia state through the establishment of the Enyimba Economic City, development of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises, Infrastructure among others.
Ohakim, who was speaking during a courtesy visit on Governor Ikpeazu at Government House Umuahia,noted that Governor Ikpeazu’s achievements in areas such as Agriculture,road construction, Manufacturing,Oil palm revolution among others,stand as testimony to his commitment at uplifting the lives of the people and urged him not to relent.
In his words, ” I’ve come here to thank you for what you are doing in the area of Agriculture, Enyimba Economic Development, Manufacturing, Agriculture, especially reviving our oil palm with which we are known for.Your government has done better than any other government in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“We also thank you because you are pushing our people back to manufacturing for which we are known and you can be sure that the world is talking note”.
Describing the Enyimba Economic City Project as the most ambitious city development project in Nigeria,Ohakim who encouraged Governor Ikpeazu on the feat,said he came with International investors led by a reputable Chinese company who are desirous of partnering the Abia state government for the development of the people.
He used the opportunity to thank Governor Ikpeazu on behalf of the Imo State government for gracing the  occasion of the Ahiajioku Festival and Lecture Series held recently at Owerri.
Responding,Governor Ikpeazu thanked the former Governor for his words of encouragement noting that he is poised to ensure even development in all parts of the state especially those things which target the lives of Abians with a view to making the state,a strong player in the polity.
He assured that his government is more dedicated and committed to redouble efforts to work for Abians,the Eastern region and Nigeria at large.
“If the only thing I succeed in doing is to place the flag of Ndị Igbo in the map of Nigeria where it rightfully belongs,that will be done”, Ikpeazu said.
The Governor who described his visitor as a development partner,assured that the fruits of his visit will manifest in the days to come.
