Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has assured the Management of the Enyimba International Football Club,Aba of the state government’s assistance to enable them achieve greater feats in the field of sports.
The Governor gave the assurance while presenting a Toyota Coaster Bus to the Management of Enyimba International Football Club, at Government House Umuahia.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr. ACB Agbazuere,who presented the bus on behalf of the governor said that the state government will not relent to encourage and support the activities of the football club and expressed hope that the vehicle will motivate the team in winning more laurels for the state.
In his response, Chairman of Enyimba Football Club, Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu thanked the Governor for his benevolence and support to the club,adding that the governor’s significant role in the achievements recorded so far by the football club will spur them to do more.
Chief Anyansi Agwu while assuring the Governor of their ability to deliver on their given mandate,said they will continuously make the State proud by projecting it’s image through football.
