Excitement As 2019/20 NPFL Kicks-off

After series of postponements, the 2019/20 Nigerian Professional Football League kicks-off today with the 20 gladiators battling for glory.

Unlike the previous season, when the abridged format was adopted with the clubs divided into two groups, this season will run the full 38 weeks.

Enyimba International of Aba will commence their title defense with a home game against Nasarawa United of Lafia.

Fidelis Ilechukwu and his Heartland FC side will take on his former club, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Football Club in Owerri.

Ifeanyi Ubah Football Club will play host to Adamawa United as Rangers International attempt to dim Sunshine Stars of Akure.

Warri Wolves will attempt to devour Akwa United while last season’s runners-up, Kano Pillars will stand solid against Rivers United.

Wikki Tourists will tackle Jigawa Stars as Plateau United host Lobi Stars as Delta Force take on Akwa Starlets in a clash of debutants.
