African women entrepreneurs elect new officers.

A new executive has been elected to pilot the affairs of the African Women Entrepreneurship Program(AWEP), Nigeria for the next period of two years.

Among those elected were Angela Ajala as National President, Lami Danburan emerged as Deputy National President while Emilia Ceasar won the post of National Secretary.

Others include Nelly Ndaguba as Asst. National Secretary, Amede Achingale as
Financial Secretary,Bukola Adeshina as Auditor while Grace Okaro became the
Public Relations Officer.

In the same vein, Tessy Igweani was elected the Vice President (South-East), Helen Imoagene for South-South, Yemisi Ogundipe (South-West), Aisha Bakari for North-East, Samira Jibrin, for North-Central and Jummai Molokwu for North-West.

Speaking shortly after they were sworn in, the newly elected National President, Mrs Angela Ajala thanked and appreciated their members for their support and the confidence reposed in them and promise not to betray the trust.

She assured members that they would continue to build an association that would be the envy of all and sundry and piloted by committed and fast thinking women.

The newly elected President said that the terrain may be rough but the hope of a better future for Nigeria should inspire all and assured that they would sustain the hope of taking the association to greater heights and called for cooperation of all.
