Wither Nigeria @ 59

Today in 1960 Nigeria was left to govern themselves without firing a single bullet with the colonial masters, but by the deplomacy of the then elites led by Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe of the blessed memory.

I humbly thank our heroes past, who sacrificed their wealth and life just for the unity of different Nations found in one country called Nigeria.
For it is not easy to live a life of pretence as things have fallen apart

In retrospect, Nigeria was said to be the giant of Africa in terms of economy, manpower, and mineral resources, but today all these attributes are still intact yet, development has lost its place in Nigeria as ethnicity and religious dichotomy have become a hydra- headed monster living amongst us.

After the Nigeria/Biafra war in 1970 that ended “NO VICTOR NO VANQUISHED” the Northern hegemony are psychologically seeing an Igbo man as a rebel through the way they are been treated in a country agreed to be “one Nigeria.
Today, it is now a sacrilege to mention Biafra anywhere in the country for whatever reason, but whether we like it or not, Nigeria’s history will not and will never be complete without the mention of BIAFRA and the late warlord Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Ikemba 1 of Ndigbo..

*What happened?
*Why are we still here?
*How are we going to handle it ?
*Where are we heading to with the way things are?

-Fellow country people, things have really gone wrong. Some people think that they own this country more than others, this is what really happened.

-We are still here because the Aburi accord between Gowon and Ojukwu under the supreme caption of “ONE NIGERIA” were dumped and rejected by the Northern caliphate even till date

-It is high time we saw ourselves as one people with one God
Let’s not allow British and Arab religion divide us the more.

-With the way things are, I’m smelling a political tsunami that will ravage this country called NIGERIA if the people at the economic and political leadership echelon refuse to retrace their steps.

Long live fellow compatriots
Long live Federal Republic of Nigeria
