Abia govt repositioning the state as Home of Nig’s Entertainment Industry- Ikpeazu’s aide


The Senior Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Entertainment, Mr Uchenna Ebochuo has said that the administration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu is repositioning Abia as the true Home of Nigeria’s Entertainment Industry.
Mr Ebochue stated this in his office at Government House Umuahia,when he received a delegation of Blessworld  Foundation,a non governmental organization founded by a Canadian based Abia son,Kingsley  Nwachukwu,  on plans to organise a talent hunt for Abia youths.
While appreciating the founder of the organisation for thinking home, Ebochuo said their proposed talent hunt will not only empower more than 120 Abia youths through capacity building but will also create employment opportunities and called on Abians in diaspora to come back home and invest so as to guarantee the future of the youths.
He said that Abia youths are blessed with raw talents waiting to be developed adding that the state government is working tirelessly to institute a secured and business- friendly atmosphere and charged Abia youths to seize the opportunity provided by the foundation to showcase their talents and secure a better future for themselves.

Speaking earlier,the leader  of the delegation,chief Anthony Akunaeme and the programme Manager of Blessworld foundation, Mr Okpeyemi Babatunde said the foundation has earmarked about N15 million naira on their proposed “Cradle to Fame reality programme”.
They said their visit was to intimate the state government about their plan adding that the project will create employment opportunities and build the capacity of hundreds of youths and called on Abia youths to avail themselves of the opportunity by logging on to www.cradletofame.com.
