Abia State Governor Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has congratulated the winner of the 2nd National competition of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) competition, Miss Norah Onwuasoanya.
Ikpeazu who extolled her for making the state proud, while stressing the need to encourage Abia Youths in their endeavors.
Speaking while receiving Miss Onwuasoanya at the Government House Umuahia, Governor Ikpeazu who extolled her for making the state proud,stressed the need to encourage Abia Youths in their endeavors.
According to the governor, his effort towards Small and Medium Enterprises is aimed at harnessing the creative spirit of the average Abian.
He expressed at her hardwork, dedication and commitment saying her victory is not an end but an enabler which will trigger her to do more.
Governor Ikpeazu who also made a donation of One million Naira pledged to support to Miss Onwuasoanya in her future endeavours.
Earlier, the winner of the MSME award, Miss Norah Onwuasoanya said she applied under the category of creative arts with the price award of One million Naira but was fortunately nominated for a higher award as the outstanding MSME of the year.
Onwuasoanya who disclosed that she was the only participant from the South East, thanked the Governor for laying the foundation for her drive in MSME as well as for making Made in Aba products a name to be reckoned with.
