Lawmaker says sensitization is key to environmental cleanliness

 

The member representing Aba Central State constituency, Hon.Abraham Obah, has described sensitization as the bedrock of environmental cleanliness, which fosters healthy living.

 

Obah who disclosed this while receiving in audience, the Circle 12 Youth Development Network who called on him at the Abia State House of Assembly, stated that the resolve of the 7th Abia Assembly is predicated on boosting further the economy of Aba at large as the economic nerve centre of the South East.

The lawmaker further hinted that the Ad-hoc Committee saddled with the responsibility of ensuring the improvement of the general cleanliness of the Aba Metropolis will synergise with them adding that the contributions of Circle 12 towards improving on environmental wellness will not go unnoticed.

 

Earlier in his remarks, the leader, Circle 12 Youth Development Network, Mba Justice Nlebechim stated that identifying with the Legislature is targeted at improving on the inroads by relevant environmental agencies pledging to contribute more, its quota in sensitizing the general populace on the need to ensure environmental cleanliness.

In a vote of thanks, Anyanwu Blessing stated that the resolve of the 7th Assembly to ensuring the aesthetic value of Aba needs collaborative efforts of all and sundry because of the strategic nature of the Aba Metropolis.
