AFCON FINAL: It’s Senegal vs Algeria

Senegal and Algeria will clash at the Cairo International Stadium in the finals of the 32nd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Senegal qualified after Tunisia defender Dylan Bronn’s extra-time own goal gave them victory, while Algeria qualified after defeating the Super Eagles 2-1.

Odion Ighalo’s penalty had cancelled Troost-Ekong’s own goal and the match was heading for extra time before Manchester City’s Riyad Mahrez scored a stunning free-kick with virtually the last kick of the match to keep the North African’s hope of winning a second AFCON title alive.
