Abia info commissioner visit ANPC, Charges staff to be punctual, dedicated

Abia State workers have been charged to be punctual to work and also engage in their different assigned duties.

The State Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, who gave this charge when he paid an unscheduled visit to Abia Newspapers and Publishing Corporation (ANPC) publishers of National Ambassador Newspapers noted that hard work attracts good reward.

Chief Kalu who expressed appreciation for the Online team of ANPC for carrying out their duties effectively also commanded the Corporation’s management team for their earnest efforts to ensure the smooth running of the office and sustaining production despite funding challenges .

The Commissioner, who frowned at poor attitude to work among some workers, expressed happiness for the commendable number of ANPC staff present in the office on the day he visited, urge them to continue maintain better work habit for secured future.

While commending the management of some parastatals in the state who had done well in the management of their resources and ensure payment of workers, Chief John expressed discomfort over parastatals that could not pay their workers due to mismanagement of resources.

He noted that workers who remain efficient and engaged with their duties, experience the satisfaction and happiness that come with hard work, calling on all Abia workers to support and work with Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to run a progressive government.
