Mrs Ikpeazu consoles Amaechi’s Family

Songs, hymns and tributes were the rendition as the wife of Abia State Governor, Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu condoled with the Amaechi’s recently over the death of their matriarch, in Obingwa Local Government Area of the State, Mama Violet Amaechi who died at the age of 87 years.
According to the Governor’s wife, ” with what I have seen written in tributes, Mama lived a good life and as a Christian, she contributed her quota in propagating the gospel wherever she found herself”.
“So let us emulate Mama, cultivate relationship and love one another as we uphold our faith in Jesus Christ our saviour until the resurrection morning”.
In the sermon, the Pastor of the Apostolic Church of Christ Mission, Apostle C O Erondu, said that it was not God’s plan that man should die.
Death he explained came as a result of man’s sin to God.
Apostle Erondu added that death is also transition to eternal life but that eternity must be determine by one’s way of life while on earth.
Mama is survived by her husband, Pa Clifford Amaechi, four children, 12, grandchildren including the immediate past Chairman of Obingwa LGA, Hon. Hanson Amaechi and numerous great grandchildren.
