Vicyory: Ikpeazu extends hands of fellowship to his opponents

Following his victory in the March 9th Governorship elections, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has thanked Abians for the renewed confidence and mandate given him to serve for another term of four years.

Polling a total of 261,127 votes to beat his closest rival, Uche Ogah of the APC who polled 99,574,Ikpeazu assured that his administration will witness greater development in all fronts.

Briefing journalists at the Government House shortly after being declared the winner of the governorship polls by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),Ikpeazu while congratulating the electoral umpire for a job well done thanked Abia youths for maintaining peace and ensuring that the election was done in an atmosphere devoid of rancor and blood- letting.

He extended his hands of fellowship to those who lost in the election urging them to join hands with his government to deliver the best in terms of democracy dividends to Abians.

According to the governor, women and youths will be on the front burner of his administration adding that the various developmental projects initiated by his administration including the Enyimba economic city and the Osisioma flyover among others will become a reality.
