Ikpeazu canvases for vote in hometown,expresses optimism on party’s victory

The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Campaign Rally in the 17 Local Government Areas of Abia State has been brought to a conclusion with great support drumed for Governor Okezie Ikpeazu by his people of Obingwa Local Government Council.

Addressing the mammoth crowd at Osusu Amaukwa Field, the Governor Ikpeazu expressed joy that
his people have shown him great love by trooping out enmasse to support his campaign rally in the area.

The Governor, who described Obingwa as the headquarters of PDP urged them to vote only PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections.

He expressed optimism that the Obingwa people would vote greater than the number of votes they cast during the 2015.

Candidates for Abia South senatorial zone, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, House of Representatives, Chief Solomon Adaelu, Obingwa East, Chief Solomon Akpulonu, Obingwa West, Chidiebere Thomas -Nkoro in their separate speeches, appealed to the people of the area to repeat the history made during the 2015 elections by voting the PDP at all the levels of the elections.

Also, the PDP State Chairman, Sir Johnson Onuigbo, the Director General State Central Campaign Council , Elder John Nwangborogwu and Chairman Campaign Advisory Council, Chief Onyema Ugochukwu and Chief Acho Nwakanma said their trooping out enmasse to celebrate their son shows that they are solidly behind their son,Governor Ikpeazu and the PDP.

They described Obingwa people as the determinants of election victory in Abia State and solicited votes for the PDP in the forthcoming elections.

Some defectors from opposition parties including APC and APGA were officially received into the PDP fold.
