Abia State House of Assembly has set up a Nine-man Adhoc Committee that will screen the appointed Transition Committee Chairmen and Deputies of the 17 Local Government Councils of the State with respect to the correspondence received from the Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu.
The Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chikwendu Kalu who made the announcement at the plenary session today said the nominees are to appear before the committee latest 2pm today and submit all credentials pertaining their educational qualifications among other vital documents for the exercise.
The Committee which will be headed by the Member representing Ugwunagbo State Constituency, Hon. Munachim Alozie, will also screen a Commissioner designate, Chief Daniel Chimezie Ubani, on Monday, February 18, 2019.
According to the Speaker, the latter is equally enjoined to appear before the committee on the said date and tender his educational qualifications and other important documents necessary for the exercise.
