“Your incoming president, Atiku Abubakar is passionate about gender equality and he respects women. He will ensure that women are carried along in the scheme of things.”

On the APC led federal government home grown feeding programme, Dr. Abubakar argued that women would have been better off if they were empowered to enable them feed all their children with appropriate food than giving few of their children food in school.

She therefore pledged to empower the women and restore their dignity when she becomes the Nigerian’s First Lady adding that through her programme, Nigerian women will have enough resources at their disposal to take care of their children.
