Manchester City were very ruthless as they hammered Chelsea 6-0. Sergio Aguero grabbed a hat trick, Raheem Sterling scored a brace while Ikay Gondugan put the icing on the cake with the sixth goal.
With this unexpected score line, the Citizens are back on top of the league table with 65 points same as Liverpool but City have superior goal difference and have played 27 matches as against Liverpool’s 26.
The Blues on their part have left the top four and slumped to sixth place with Manchester United and Arsenal overtaking them. Chelsea have conceded 13 goals this season. They are only better than Fulham, who have conceded 15 goals.
