2019: Ikpeazu seeks support of Bende people

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu says the battle for the 2019 general election is one that must be fought with justice and clear conscience by all and sundry.

The Governor who stated this while addressing the people of Bende Local Government Area at Uzuakoli Practicing School during the Peoples Democrafic Party (PDP) rally,maintained that equity and justice demands that the Bende people support his second term bid just as the people of Obingwa and Abia South supported a Bende and Abia North Governorship candidate to rule for eight years.

He advised them to jettison opposition parties and remain resolute in the PDP urging them to vote for all PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections.

Others who spoke at the rally including, the candidates for Abia North Senatorial Zone, Chief Mao Ohuabunwa, that of Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, Bende North state constituency and Deputy Speaker, Abia House of Assembly, Sir Cosmas Ndukwe, as well as the candidate of Bende South, Chief Emmanuel Ndubuisi, said the party has penetrated all nooks and crannies of the area and expressed optimism that the PDP would secure total victory.

They said that the Governor has fixed roads in the State, including Aba, where many Bende people do businesses adding that the Governor has provided the necessary ambience for better lives in Abia State.

Contributing, the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Eme Okoro
and the Chairman Campaign Council of the Bende Local Governnent Area, Chief Ukwu Rocks Emma said their candidates are ready for the elections.

He stated that with the presentable candidates and the achievments of the Governor, PDP would sweep Bende in all the levels of the election.

Mrs. Loveth Ojo on behalf of the woman, vowed that both the women, their youths and children would vote for the PDP in the 2019 general elections.
