Austin Nwaku confesses: I admire Wike even when I was in APC

A former All Progressive Congress( APC) leader in Khanu Local Government Area Agustin Nwaku says he defected with some of his followers to the People’s Democratic Party PDP because he admires the love and purposeful leadership style of governor Nyesom Wike. Mr Nwaku alleged that he can not continue with the party where there is confusion and division.

” I have no reason staying in a place where they do not have respect for the rule of law, they have no respect for the Ogoni people, they do not have respect even for a distinguish senator of the federal republic. Give it to him or leave it, Nyesome Wike has done well for Rivers state people. Even when we were in APC,we admired him, he is doing well. And I think that this is the time for us to come and put hands with him. I am not aspiring for any position. But I think that he needs my support and the people of Ogoni to make it work” he stated.
