2019: Wike assured of victory

Rivers State commissioner for special duties,Hon.John Bazia has stated his readiness to mobilize massive support to ensure that Governor Wike’s victory in the forthcoming gubertorial election in Rivers State is guaranteed .
Making this known to our reporter in Port Harcourt, Bazia remarked that it was not a contestable fact that politics is a game of numbers and as such reassured that he will be stopping at nothing in reaching out to all eligible electorates in the state to ensure that they come out in their good numbers to queue behind Barr.Nyesom Wike re_election bid.
‘infact, there is no gain saying the fact that Governor Wike has performed creditably well, seeing the numerous projects he has successfully completed thereby transforming the state into a model to be envied by other states for the past 3 and half years in office.
Hence I’m of the view that there is no other better way every Rivers man or woman can appreciate all the good that Governor Wike has done so far than to re_elect for second term so that he will consolidate on the great achievement recorded to take the state to the next level.
The commissioner also called on officials of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to do well to uphold their Independent status in refusing to dance to the tune of any political party instead should be transparent and fair in their line of action.
“Honestly,I pray that INEC should allow a level playing field for all registered political party to come forward to showcase their popularity at the poll which will help to curb court litigations at the end of the election exercise”.
“Besides,I will also urge the security agents (police) not to be partisan but to remain neutral and exhibit high level of professionalism in the course of carrying out their jobs by ensuring that peace and order are maintained all through the duration of election period”.
“Let me equally remind the youth on the need to conduct themselves very well and also not allow themselves to be used by some desperate politicians to foment trouble at the poll since the future of this country rest on the hands’the well respected Ogoni born commissioner emphatically intoned”.
