Abia Deputy Gov task Christian’s on crisis free Elections

The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu has charged Christians to sustain their prayers for a crisis free elections devoid of irregularities and injustice to ensure the continued stability of the nation.

Sir Oko Chukwu who gave the charge during a Church Service held at St. Albert’s Catholic Chaplaincy, 14 Brigade, Ohafia said there is need for God to take Pre eminence in the conduct and out come of the forthcoming elections for the emergence of credible men and women that will handle the affairs of the state and nation.

The deputy governor used the forum to appreciate the efforts and sacrifices of officers of the Nigeria Armed Forces in keeping the nation safe in term of combating insurgents and uprising such as Book Haram, Militancy and other Criminal activities and prayed God to continue to protect and grant them the grace to move on.

He lauded the parish priest of St. Albert’s Catholic Chaplaincy for the wonderful work he has been doing in transforming the parish praying God to continue to strengthen and uphold him as he shepherds his flock in the chaplaincy and solicits their support and vote for him, the Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and other PDP Candidates in next month election.

Earlier in his homily, Titled His Divine Presence , the Parish priest, The Lieutenant (Rev Father) I.F Obot who assured Christians that Jesus can bring back sweetness to their homes with His Divine presence as He has the authority ti supply all the needs of His people just as He did at the wedding at Cannan.
