2024 Aba International Trade Fair Will Serve As Platform To Drive Investment Opportunities in Abia – Chief Inem

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade, Commerce and Industry, Chief Nwaka Inem has described the 2024 Aba International Trade Fair as a veritable platform to attract investment into Abia State.

Chief Inem stated this, Wednesday, at the Aba Mega Mall, while briefing Journalists on the preparations for the Trade Fair, scheduled to hold from November 28 to December 7.

The Governor’s Aide who also serves as the Chairman of the Planning Committee for the
2024 Aba International Trade Fair emphasized that the Fair is a Hub for Investment Opportunities in Abia which no serious minded business person can afford to miss.

My message to every business establishment operating in the country is that this is an opportunity none of them can afford to miss.

This is also the best time to begin to make inroads into the next big economic frontier in West Africa. No serious-minded business person can afford to be left out”, Inem said.

He revealed that major businesses from within and outside Nigeria have confirmed their willingness to be part of the Trade Fair and added that a number of them have paid for spaces.

“I am glad to inform you that Honda Motors, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing, Roxette’s Motors, Inner Galaxy Steel Company, Erojim Automated Shoe and Garment Factory, Masters Group and NEPAL Energy will be at the fair.

Several other big, medium and small scale manufacturing, servicing and retail establishments will be live at the Aba International Trade Fair to display their products.

Also, locally manufactured vehicles, oil and gas products, metal fabrications, food and consumables, shoes, fabrics and other fashion items and other innovative products that point to the future of the Nigerian business ecosystem will be on display at the event“, Chief Inem added.

According to Chief Inem, the event will also provide an opportunity for the 17 Local Government Areas in the State to display unique Agricultural Produce and Local food items to an International audience.

Inem announced that the trade fair would kick off with a symposium aimed at inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs and added that successful business leaders from Aba and beyond will share their stories to encourage young entrepreneurs to build sustainable enterprises.

Our goal is to use the symposium to talk to our people about the importance of thinking ahead, looking beyond the present and creating systems that power business success across generations.

We are bringing experts who will guide our entrepreneurs on how to leverage technology and a host of emerging opportunities in the global enterprise ecosystem to build businesses that would outlive the original founders like we see in other parts of the world”, Inem explained.

He assured that adequate measures have been implemented to prevent any security breaches during the Trade Fair and to address any potential disruptions, ensuring a robust and seamless security architecture.
