2023 Presidency: Sen Bukola Saraki’s Campaign Train, Visits Abia, Solicits For Support

A two time senator representing Nasarawa South Constituency, Sen Suleiman Adokwe, has led a delegation to Abia state, seeking support for the 2023 Bukola Saraki Presidential bid.

The campaign team, led by Sen Adokwe, paid a visit to leaders and members of the People’s Democratic Party in the state to intimate them of the presidential ambition of their principal, Sen Bukola Saraki.

The team who arrived the State Party’s secretariat in Umuahia, said their visit to Abia is to herald the coming of Sen Bukola Saraki as the president of Nigeria come 2023.

Sen Adokwe said the All Progressive Congress(APC), has dragged Nigeria into  untold hardship and difficulties, hence the need for someone with capacity to help revive the economy of the nation.

He accused the APC of taking Nigeria 50 years backwards, adding that when the APC came on board in 2015, Nigeria was only faced with some security challenges but today, the whole country is challenged, ranging from education, security, employment and others, stressing that Nigerians need a true and detribalized Nigerian to help correct these anomalies.

“Everything APC brought is more like a yahoo yahoo. Seven years of their administration, see the level of underdevelopment they have brought us into.

“When we handed over to the APC, a dollar was slightly above #100 but today it is over #500. Food stuffs, prices of raw materials have tripled their initial prices when PDP was in government.

“Today,a litre of fuel is #250 as against #86 when PDP was in power.

“These increases we have seen in virtually every product and services offered in Nigeria”, Sen Adokwe pointed out.

Sen Adokwe also revealed that Sen Bukola Saraki when he served as the Senate President, helped in curtailing the incessant borrowing by Nigeria government, but lamented that Nigeria has borrowed over #30trillion under the watch of President Muhammadu Buhari, as a result of a rubber stamp senate president who gives the president a go ahead in loan collections.

He further intimated that only two zones in Nigeria are qualified for the presidency seat.”He said the South East and North Central are the eligible geopolitical zones to produce the next president since they have not been given the opportunity to do so”.

Adokwe maintained that if the presidential ticket is zoned to the South, then the South East should be allowed to produce the next president, but if it is zoned to the North, then the North Central should be given the opportunity.
